Manuel Sanchez, MD
A Native of Southern Spain, Dr Sanchez graduated Summa Cum Laude from the National Autonomous University in Mexico City with an MD degree in 1966. He immigrated to Canada in 1967 and completed his postgraduate training in Internal Medicine, becoming Certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Anesthesiology and board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in 1977. He practiced Anesthesiology and Pain Management in Toronto, where he was a lecturer at the University of Toronto until 1989 when he and his wife moved to Southern New Hampshire. Dr. Sanchez continued his practice of Anesthesiology and Pain Management in Exeter. In the Spring of 1999, he joined the current group and became a full time Consultant in Interventional Pain Medicine. He obtained Board Certification in Pain Medicine by the American Board of Pain Medicine in the winter of 2001. Dr. Sanchez is a member of The Canadian Medical Association, The Ontario Medical Association, The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, The American Society of Anesthesiology, The American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Management, The New Hampshire Medical Association, the New Hampshire Society of Anesthesiologist, The American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, The American Academy of Pain Medicine,and The American Board of Pain Medicine. Dr. Sanchez and his wife Judy are accomplished wine enthusiasts, and in his free time he enjoys gardening in their Newfield home.
