Asteghik Hacobian, MD

Dr. Hacobian received her BA in Biology with honors from Boston University. She then completed graduate training in vascular physiology getting a Master’s degree in vascular physiology from Boston University. She was then accepted to medical school in Boston and received her MD degree in 1990 from Boston University. After moving to New York, she completed her Internship in Internal Medicine at Cornell Medical School, Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital. Dr. Hacobian returned to Boston and completed her residency in Anesthesia and Critical Care at Beth Israel Hospital, Harvard Medical School in 1995. She completed her fellowship training in pain management at Beth Israel and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Harvard Medical School in 1995. She is board certified in Pain Management and Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology. She has been on staff at Mass General Hospital Pain Center since 1996. She was also Senior Pain Consultant at Lahey Clinic till February 2000. A clinical instructor at Mass General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, she joined our current practice in 1995 and sees patients in Exeter and Barrington. Dr. Hacobian has years of experience in research and has published in the fields of cell biology, anesthesia, and pain management.
