Dr. Lantz is Board Certified and Fellowship trained in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology. He completed his fellowship and residency through the Harvard Medical School program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center where he served as Chief Resident and received the Pain Fellowship Award. Dr. Lantz served in the United States Army at Fort Bragg, NC, and completed two tours in Afghanistan as Chief of Anesthesia and Senior Medical Officer. He was the sole anesthesiologist in his combat zone. During each tour he established combat zone pain management clinics serving U.S. soldiers, allies and the Afghan people. In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Lantz has written articles, chapters and has lectured and managed training programs.
